Please let me know if you have any questions. I assume you're going to give instructions to get here. When you do, please let people know that there are 6 visitor parking spaces on the northeast corner of Switzerland / Swedish under the trees. We are also on a cul-de-sac, so there is parking there as well. The west clubhouse is about a block away, so anybody who enjoys a little walk can always park there as well. There are also visitor spaces spread out amongst the three buildings in our area.
We are on the second floor, end unit toward the lake / walking path.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to seeing everybody.

New Year's Eve

The club had a party on New Year's Eve at the West Side Rec Center. It was a potluck affair with lots of goodies provided by the guests, as well as drinks. We had about 20 in attendance. Not including the man and woman who came in and joined us before they figured that they were at the wrong party. They were looking for the big party at the East Rec Center.
At the party, there was a Wii game which permitted the guests to try their luck at bowling. My score remains secret. blush.
At midnight, we all toasted each other with champagne as we watched the ball drop. Many kisses were bestowed back and forth amongst the guests wishing each other Happy New Year. It must have been a sight, especially for the young janitor guy who was watching the ball drop on the TV along with us. And then, quickly it was done. Everything cleaned up and put away by the stroke of 12:30am as agreed. Thanks, guys. Then we cruised off into the night fortunately to our nearby condos for a timely bedtime.

Lambda Christmas Party 2010

This year, we had our Christmas party in the kitchen. It may not look it, but it was mood lighting. Candles on the table. There was much feasting and fun. Thom brought in a massage chair and worked on a few of the Lambdans. Finally, we exchanged gifts. John G went home with a special prize - a fiberoptic butterfly! Groovy!

Halloween Potluck

Our October meeting was a potluck with such ghoulish dishes as mummy dogs, monster meatballs, green slime beans, kitty litter cake, and other treats. Thanks to all of our diabolical cooks who gave their all. And no one got sick!
